The hotel was functional with comfortable location by boats "revving up " on the river. Very nice modern building and rooms with comfortable beds.

The property's location is excellent and unbeatable, right by particularly the areas overlooking the river, boats " revving up " on the river, and sands. Love eating outside and there's Hoof, set a short way from the hotel. The rooms are functional and new-fashioned, equipped with TV set, coffee/tea making equipment, and ironing facilities.

What a very very good stay, no complaints whatsoever. Overall clean, fantastic little hotel with perfect and comfortable location close to Rye's centre. Early check-in, very amiable employees. Overall family atmosphere. A lot of options for nice hot and generous breakfast.

It ticked all the boxes - comfortable room with all the facilities we needed. We don't need trouser presses or mini bar. Food - breakfast and evening meal were satisfactory/

There was nothing to 'really' like about the hotel. It served its purpose for our 2 day stay in Rye, because all we wanted was night time accommodation and breakfast. For that purpose it was perfectly fine.
For me the only thing to dislike was the uncomfortable bed. A new, firmer matresses would have been preferable to the bed I slept in in room 12.

Scenic river views, family-friendly accommodations, outdoor seating with a river view
The décor seems stuck in a bygone era. A refresh would do wonders!!! Those tight parking logistics could definitely be smoothed out for a better experience!!!

Super comfy stay alongside the river!
The staff were super attentive, especially the chef who came out to check on us during dinner. Our room was spacious and tidy. Just a bit too hot in there for my taste, no fans available. Breakfast was on point and the bar area was lovely to chill in after a day out.

Mate, the curry at the local chippy was a revelation! Plus, the free parking was a lifesaver, and the breakfast was a proper fry-up that got us ready for a day of exploring. The pub next door offered a cracking atmosphere too.
